Hey guys.
Can we discuss the "newer" Wind Waker item which got added to 7.28 patch.
Most of you know what item does, but I will still mention it below:
Wind Waker:
Sweeps a target unit up into a cyclone, making them invulnerable for 2.5 seconds. Cyclone can be cast on yourself, enemy units or allied units.
Enemy units take 50 magical damage upon landing.
Cast Range: 550Cyclone Radius: 24Damage: 50Self Cyclone Speed: 360Duration: 2.5 secCD: 18 secMana Cost: 175Can be cast on self while spell immune.Cannot be cast on spell immune enemies.
Some of you, who are actively following reddit or youtube; know the trick which could save you from Puck's Dream Coil without getting stunned (posted by u/rahulmjain24 on reddit on this link)
The difference between those 2 items are:
My opinion is that this item is very expensive for the amount of gold it costs (7125 gold), and the effect which you get isn't way stronger than the active you get from Eul's Scepter of Divinity (2725 gold) – difference 4400 gold.
Besides the Dream Coil and regular escape mechanism (it can be used on yourself to move over the trees and cliffs), have you found some nice interactions with it like the Puck's Dream Coil stun evasion?
In my opinion, this is strictly late game item which you would buy when you are ~6 slotted. Like Aghanim's Blessing/Boots of Traveler 2/Moon Shard.
Also, I'm familiar that using Euls on the edge of Puck's Dream Coil has the same effect of breaking and not getting stunned, but this is a bit safer solution.
Would like to hear your thoughts about it.
