This gun is actually so useless. i dont know what theyve done to it but it has been massacred

The recoil is absolutely ATROCIOUS. its actually nearly unuseable past 20 meters. and to even make it useable you need to kit it out. the ammo isnt really that great in return. the AP rounds are just slower 55a1 rounds with 51 damage instead of 49. Imo the round should be closer to 7.62 and should have around 55 damage. M62 is just a worse 56a1. so that isnt really great either.

I dont know why anyone would ever dare to use it. I loved it in the beginning when it got released. i cant remember if it had more damage or if the 556 rounds had less damage. anyway it was a nice mixture between 7.62 and 556. it also used to have way less recoil. if you take a 5.45 ak and remove the stock it would have better recoil. There is literally no point in using this gun. and i think its in desperate need of a buff. reduce the recoil with 10%. increase the damage of m62 to like 58 and AP to 55 and you got yourself an alright gun.
