So this is attempt two to get some worthwhile info on this score. I can't find a system that offers whatever the holy hell federal combat bonds ACTUALLY are. Steps taken: find a star system that has war or civil war that is federal aligned. Find conflict zone. See ships that say federal navy and side with them. Blow up other side. Turn in bonds under contacts within said system. Nope. Cock all. Ok…side with…other side and blow up federal vessels and repeat? Nope. There is a lot to love about elite, but this is crap. To further confuse things, NO ONE reads as federal, they read as corporate or democracy, etc. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, no question. I'm also sure the info is not readily available in game because the devs offer no knowledge to players and it's hard to get things right.
Problem 2: I've been master rank in combat for over a year. Killed mostly master and above and turned in as bounties or bonds. Zero progress on rank. I'm elite in the other 2. Does that merit a ticket?
