Just beat the final boss after starting a fresh world for the Mistlands update – my thoughts and one suggestion

Started a new world with my buddy for the holidays and we finally finished the game today, it was a great playthrough that we were playing hardcore-ish, so we didn't focus too much on the building side of things for this run.

I'd like to thank the devs for this awesome update, it's really fun enjoying all the new content! We did a little bit of building and all the black marble stuff looks really cool, can't wait to do a more building focused world and have fun with it all.

I have one major complaint, and that is how 1 dimensional the food system is, especially with the addition of eitr.

As of right now your options with food dishes are solely based on what gives the most stats, with the food that gives the most health also giving the most heallth regen. This means that as soon as you get a better food, even from the same "age", you will just switch to eating that food instead of your previous food.

For example if we compare honey glazed chicken to misthare supreme, there is no reason to ever eat honey glazed chicken over misthare supreme because the misthare supreme grants an additional 5 health and 1 stamina.

Imagine if there were certain foods that gave more max health, but slightly less health regen and other foods with a smaller total health but higher regen. There would be reason to choose certain health foods over others depending on the situation.

You could extend this thinking to both stamina and eitr foods as well, if the devs lowered the base regen of those stats and added some regen onto foods, you could have reason to take certain stamina foods over others if you want to prioritize stamina regen vs having a bigger stamina bar.

I personally ran double stamina single health food throughout the mistlands, sometimes running single eitr food with double stamina foods.

Let me know what you guys think, imo it would be an easy change to make for the devs and would add a lot more choice for food items as opposed to just eating whatever gives the highest base stats.
