I just want to share my thoughts and experience with Valheim, I think this game is amazing. Wonderful atmosphere… I was scared to death last night when I saw a shadowy figure watching me from afar just outside my palisade, after I killed The Elder.
I love exploring on my karve and setting up temporary bases which become in no time bigger than what I planned…
I love the goosebumps when I enter new areas or the surprise when I first met and defeated a troll, the first time I entered burial chambers.
And the feeling of coming home once you are done exploring for a while or defeated some new foe, tending to my carrots and bees is something you wouldn’t believe…
I am at bronze stage just starting now the swamp, but I already invested so much time and effort in my main base and it’s so good and satisfactory to think how I built a hut from scratch and it soon became a longhouse, decorated with trophies and banners, warm and comfortable (10 for now lol) and a new bit is added whenever new needs arise, now I have a work post attached to the palisade, a big watchtower near it, its ground floor became my portal room (just 2 now), and a log watchpost near my gate to rain arrows on invaders. And after I finished that, watching the gate something seemed not right, my stairs leading down from it were always soaked, so in a moment I started working on it and now the gate too has cover and decorations, and Eikthyr from the top of it greets my foes and me when I come back from a long trip…
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
First I'd like to say I absolutely love this game it's quality. Basically I first…
