LCQ: Reasons you should stop complaining

I see so much hate. Maybe some of it is justified but consider these points:

1). This isn’t TI. This is a bonus round we haven’t gotten in previous years. You should expect it to have less production value from the main event.

2). We are gamers. So what if production doesn’t look as cringe as LoL worlds? Do you not enjoy seeing the players in their hotel rooms just being like us gamers?

3). This is a great opportunity to give lesser known casters a shot. Since it’s not main event and budget is (rightfully) lower, use this time to find the next big caster talent.

4). Virtual casting. Again, not main event. Again, we are gamers. I for one am thankful to not see the cringe Worlds graphics swirling everywhere and seeing the camera pan to an ensemble of try harder “news” reporters. Keeping budget lower for non-main event games that we got this year as a BONUS.

5). It’s been said a lot but this puts the “this region deserves more slots” argument to rest. Each region has their shot now to prove themselves.

This bonus round will get refined over time as well.

In before Dota is actually dead and this post means nothing in a year.
