I really think we're at a point that we can experiment new quality of life improvement for the game. We had tried many crazy additions that seemed to work just fine after a few patches of balancing, like talents, bkb change, armor change…
Here's what I'm interested in seeing: Lower cast point and turn rates.
This is one of the most frustrating mechanics for new players that come from other games and even for me after I come back from a break. I think the most frustrating mechanic to me is cast point, it has literally no reason to exist, it just makes characters way too vulnerable for no reason.
Take a look at lina for example, when you try to cast her stun, she stops does the casting animation and then after a short delay, the spell lands. Why does she have to stop for so long to cast that spell? Why can't she cast it instantly and then the spell itself has a delay to land just like sunstrike?
I know these changes may seem drastic and it would probably take too long to balance all the heroes, but we have done crazier things that seemed to work just fine, this would improve the game a lot and even make it more responsive.
