Let’s talk about the uplifting sides of VoIP to get our minds off Queues.

I’m tired of seeing the endless rants about queues, so let’s talk about the single best feature of 12.12.

VoIP.

I cannot give enough love for this. Yes, there are traitors but overall the experience has been massively positive. I haven’t found a single mic spammer like people were worried about before wipe. Getting shot at by a PMC as a Scav? VoIP. It might just save your life.

I had a duo on reserve that thought I was AI, I ended up extracting with them and then we played together for 6 hours. They even gave me a Red Rebel so I could do their loot runs!

Another good example is scav-scav interaction. Yesterday I heard the faint voice of a P. Scav who got themselves trapped behind a car door on Lighthouse. I got them unstuck and they gave me a Roler in return on what would otherwise have been a lootless raid.

Being kind to others and/or stepping out of your comfort zone to not escalate a fight might not always work, but sometimes it can pay off massively in terms of friendships or fun experiences.

What positive experiences have you had on VoIP that made you laugh or generally made your day better?
