Logged into Elite for the first time in months.

Logged in. Walked around my carrier. Thought to myself "So this is what they think is important now" and logged back out. In my humble opinion, this game has lost its direction since Odyssey. I'm here for the ships. The exploration. The dogfighting. The mining.

If I wanted a shooter I have Halo, COD, and literally thousands of other options. I play elite be a space fighter pilot/explorer. Stop wasting your time on half assed fluff that isn't going to keep people coming back. This game was at its best when things like Colonia started. Imagine if they gave players the tools to start their own bases. Make it a grindy process of hauling 1000's of tons of random commodities or something. But at the end there could be squadron created bubbles littered all across the galaxy. I'm sure anyone here could come up with a million better ideas of what would make this game interesting and fun. Instead we get to walk around the same plain looking, ugly ass space port (and now fleet carriers) over and over again. Ill check in again in 6 months.

Am I in the minority? Are people actually excited about this stuff and prefer they keep going down this road?
