I'm a hoarder (in RL and Valheim), so I have a hard time throwing anything away. I built the obliterator, was like WTF, and unbuilt it. So I have a large pit in the corner of my base where I toss stuff I'm pretty sure I don't want anymore. Not to mention the many, many large chests stuffed full of stuff I'm sure I'll find a use for soon. To be fair, most of it I use occasionally?

So what item do you end up throwing in your pit? Or destroying in your obliterator, if you're the sort of person who can throw perfectly usable junk away? Or putting… somewhere?

I'm way past the point where I need gold and valuables, so in they go. Same with trophies, though I keep full stacks of all of them in chests where I can get them. Anything that I don't use regularly that I have a full stack of (all the animal skins and bones, etc, eventually). There's a LOT of resin in there, though recently I've started building torches everywhere so things are very well lit. And I use resin to keep it that way.

On the flip side, what clever uses have you found for items you don't really "need"? I know surtling trophies can be used as lights, and I've been meaning to jump in my pit to get some and make some sort of disply. I'm a pretty utilitarian player, but occasionally I get motivated to do some home decorating. Kind of like in real life…
