Tl;dr, Minimap placements (left or right) should be the player in question’s when it comes to overwatch
Unlike 90% of the player base, my minimap is on the right (yeah yeah whateve).
Since it is natural for some players to click the map to snap to certain points, and such movement is carried over in overwatch, can I be certain that a player is clicking on their map, and just so happen that their map is not in the same place as mine? Would it be a better idea to have the map placement exactly as the player that I am watching?
Erratic camara movements are usually signs of scripting, and the only way to distinguish scripts and legitimate movements are: A, to see a player clicking on their map, or B, if the player is playing a hero that has illusion and is typically played with hotkey bindings (e.g meepo or arc). From my most recent case, I can see mouse movements in the bottom left followed by some erratic mouse and camara movements, at first I was almost certain the person was guilty, but then thought of the map placements (they still turned out to be guilty tho dw), and just thought this entire thing could have been mitigated if I can see the replay pixel for pixel as they were from the moment they were played by that person, using their settings.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
