Masquerade Ball feels good in the current meta

Ball has been out of the meta for a while now, but this season I thought I'd give it a try with the new knight trio. I think any deck that has multiple good tall removal options will benefit from having those guys in their deck. I figured ball would work, especially since Calveit lines them up together anyway.

The new Ehmyr buff has also been pretty decent. Being able to play him with a thirsty dame immediately puts two engines on the board that can be hard to keep up with. If you have the usurper in his third phase, he works really well with him too.

Nobody seems to be carrying heatwave, which is arguably the biggest reason why it feels better.

The biggest thing that feels different though is that you actually have good cards to play outside of the round you play ball. Ehymr, Usurper, Phillipe, Knight trio, all play for solid points and can be played outside of the round you play ball.

The best thing I've discovered though is that everyone thinks you're a Renfri deck if you have imprisonment. So people sometimes ff immediately which makes me feel bad.

Has anyone else had similar success or innovations?
