Love his quote about the spacewalk on the wiki. The idea that you can be grossly over-qualified for the first jet-pack powered untethered space walk is incrediable, the belief in your own skill set must be astounding.

ED is quite cool and allows us to feel like we are in touching distance of our fantasies but then you read about a guy like this who actually lived the dream and it all disappears in a puff of smoke..

More Kerbal less ED perhaps?
