Hello guys, just wanted to share something I noticed. It’s not confirmed and I have not seen other posts about it but here it goes: I have at least 20 cases of friends who regularly play unranked games and out of those 20 I checked, only one of them got the same or lower mmr. All the rest suffered an increase from a couple hundreds like myself (6.2k), to around a thousand average. The biggest case was a friend jumping from archon 1 to divine 5. The common thing is that we all play a lot of unranked games in between ranked games, and most party games where there’s a huge skill gap in between the players. Can this be affecting their recalibration?
On the other hand, almost all my friends who just play exclusively ranked and mostly solo, had no change in their mmr. Maybe +- 200. I’m wondering if there’s a connection or if it’s just a huge coincidence.
