My Dream Patch Notes

Hi Reddit,

I am not really a Pro player but I just would like to share my thoughtsideas on how to nerf some powerful cards and mechanics in the game along with some comments to justify these changes:

First, I think some general rules should be added to the game:

1- Scenarios prologues and chapters are triggered once only per turn: To avoid exploiting Eternal Eclipse with LeaderAffan and trigger chapter 1 without getting chance for the opponent to counter the scenario. Another example is Feign Death with stratagem and triggering chapter 1 in the same turn that scenario is played.

2- Cards can be infused one time only: This change is mainly addressed to the multiple infusions done by Eternal Eclipse Initiates on the same card. I am not sure if there are other cards with infusion ability are exploited in the same manner. If there is not, then maybe the Initiate only should be nerfed somehow without nerfing the whole infusion mechanic.

3- Poisons cannot be applied on the same card twice in a single turn.

Now let's get to the cards:

Neutrals:

1- GN: Look at the top unit, special, and artifact and play two of them: This change will allow more strategy for the GN player since he will consider the order of the cards he play and also less power for opponent to handle since two cards will be played instead of 3.

Monsters:

Urn of Shadows: Trigger Deathwish of a bronze allied unit.

NG:

1- Nauzicaa Sergeant: Its ability should be Order not deploy: To give an opponent some chance to counter it.

2- Slave Driver: Same ability but with adding: and make the targeted unit deploy ability an order. If it has flanking ability: start triggering its end of turn ability after 2 turns.

The first part is addressed to avoid 5+ locks in a game and have a chance to counter it.

3- Illusionist: either make it 5 or 6 provisions or make it spawn 1 power locked copy and bonded part is spawn 1 power copy.

4- Vilgefortz: Summons the top bronze unit or keep its ability as it is and make 11p

5- Torres Var Emreis: Founder: mmmm Idk maybe remove boosts? or give spying to two bronze and 1 gold card?

6- Trahearn: Make it order or timer 2 or just rework it.

Skellige:

1- Brokvar Warrior: Make it 6 provisions: There is no way a 4 provisions card can give 3 armors to all units in hand or set up a bloodthirst 3 in a single turn. Setting up armors or bloodthirst should be counted in the provisions.

2- Magic Compass: Maybe just make it like Shupe. I mean let it choose from different categories such as: warrior, beast, druid and then create and play a legendary card from this category.

NR:

1- Temple of Melitele: Should be reworked somehow.

2- Damsel in distress: Chapter 1: Triggered once per turn only

Harmony scenario should be nerfed also but I have no idea how. I think all factions should have more options to counter artifacts or purifying enemy rows (to counter immunities). Maybe this can be done by reworking useless cards in each faction.
