My Problem with High Intensity Conflict Zones

I don't know where to put this so I'll put it here. (Please, if you know where to put it, please tell me xd)

I LOVE playing Elite and especially doing Combat Zones in either a small or a large ship but it gets boring so quick. Why you may ask? Capital ship fights have a lot of unused potential. Here is an idea that I had in my mind:

My idea is it, to make the capital ship fights not only longer but cooler too. Instead of having to destroy the heat relays, there will be the so called shield relays. as you are in a smaller ship, you can fly through the shields of the big ships, if you fly slow enough (basically like the fighters launching/docking through the shields of your ship). underneath you have to deactivate the shield relays (like the heat relays) to temporarily shut down the shields. After the shield goes down, the opposite capital ship will launch a full broadside at the shieldless battleship. This does 33% damage. 10 seconds after, the shields recharge it's a rinse and repeat. after you've repeated that 3 times
(100% -> 67%, 67% -> 34%, 34% -> 1%) you will have a 50/50 chance of the battleship either: exploding (instead of 1% 0%) into a gigantic fireball that is going to be seen up to 20km away, or an emergency jump like we have right now.

TL;DR: The Capital Ship Battles should get turned into phase Boss Fights.

I just think it's time for Frontier to make rework "old" stuff and this is one of my ideas to change the High CZ's. I'd love getting feedback obviously.
