I have a friend that had 5500 MMR back in 2014-2015.
He was an extremely talened Earth Spirit player. He played only Earth Spirit in All Pick ranked. He played with RTZ and other pros countless times.
He can't climb out of 3k at the moment. He plays core roles mostly.
I'm so sad for him.
I know you will hate me for this, but I asked another friend for an Archon account to prove to this guy that it's really not that hard.
I climbed out of Archon 2 to Ancient in less than 2 months and I really don't play much. There are days when I don't play Dota at all.
You know what happened? Nothing. He said that he can't play with "these idiots" and that's it.
I'm afraid my friend will have a mental breakdown.
He was my teammate in countless tournaments, he was my brother. But I feel like I'm losing him.
How do I help him?
