Hello Reddit! I'm here to get your opinions on a new item idea in Dota 2. I play mainly Pos4/5, and I appreciate the subtle benefits of the following items: buckler, headdress, and Ring of Basilius.

Ring of Basilius: 425g; gives 1.5 mana regen to the owner and 1 mana regen to nearby allies.

Buckler: 375g; gives 3 armor to the owner and 2 armor to nearby allies.

Headdress: 425g; gives 2.5 HP regen to the owner and 2HP regen to nearby allies.

Each of these items is subtly powerful for supports who (until late game) greatly benefit from that little bit of regen/armor. My idea for a new item: combine these three items into a single item, the Armor of Basilius (name is a work in progress), possibly with a 200g recipe (I prefer no recipe, but this can be discussed). The benefits of all items combine, the total cost is 1425g (1225g if no recipe), and it can be disassembled.

This is an early-mid game item for supports, it's not too powerful late game, and could be sold or disassembled later to make room for more powerful items.

Why do I want this item? 1) Because I would like this item as-is, and 2) because I like to build Vladimir's Offering, and I think Vlad's is in a weird spot right now (even with the upgrade which I LOVE). Vlad's is an odd choice because it's an aura item that many cores don't want to build. It's damage aura doesn't seem to be worth it for most cores who would rather just build either a damage or defensive item. HOWEVER, Vlad's requires a 400 gold recipe, Ring of Basilius, buckler, morbid mask, and claws of attack. WHAT IF we replace the Vlad's recipe, Ring of Basilius, and buckler with the Armor of Basilius? Essentially we're replacing the Vlad's recipe with a headdress (again, I prefer the no-recipe option to Armor of Basilius). New Vlad's:

1.75 mana regen, 2.5 hp regen, 3 armor, 15% lifesteal, 18% bonus damage (all in an aura).

It's a minor change, but as a support player, I would really appreciate the Armor of Basilius item to cover my base armor/hp regen/mana regen needs. And as an Undying/Omniknight/other tanky support player, I enjoy building Vlad's later to help out my team.
