No clue what the devs were thinking with this new seeker raid. Was it even play-tested? If they knew (and liked) their player base, they'd know that many of us spend the bulk of our time building and decorating. Sometimes 100s of hours. Players are having their lovingly-crafted bases just obliterated. How is that fun? Ever other raid type is manageable and reasonable, even interesting. But this one is just egregious. And what is a solo player to do when multiple bugs come flying in at once? Did devs even scale the raid to number of players? I really hope this is nerfed / fixed. Makes many of us not want to play. Not asking for it to be removed as I like how brutal the game can be, but this is just horrible. This is anti-player, pure & simple. Extremely poor judgement by the devs. Very disappointed.
Update: To refine this rant, I'm primarily commenting on the game design decision around the order in which various mechanics are introduced into the player experience. Seeker raids start after Yagluth. Most players had killed Yagluth ages ago and suddenly get raids after downloading Mistlands. Then, apparently according to some (my group is trying not to spoil and read ahead on the wiki), you don't get ballistae until you're through much of the Mistlands content. So you're suffering raids the whole time. My group still has no idea how to make ballistae because the game hasn't hinted at it yet — meaning, we likely haven't found the right material or something. But the order in which players kill Yagluth vs. encounter the material(s) needed for ballistae is arbitrary. That seems like putting the cart before the horse IMO.
