Hi there Dota2 community. I have been on and off mobas for quite a while now. After playing the original dota for wc3, I jumped over to HoN. But since HoN is now dead, I am trying to find a replacement to tickle my moba craving.
I tried playing against bots in the game, but they are really bad. They, for example, do not even buy items. So I tried to queue for a regular match resulting in me either being carried by four other players, or messing up for the entire team and then getting called various insults.
Dota2 plays quite different then what I am used to from HoN, and I am really trying to use the in-game stuff to learn the game better. I have also looked trough the pinned post in this subreddit. But many of the guides or tutorials have either dead links, or points to outdated information.
So, I ask of you, dear community. What is the best resource to learn the differences between Dota2 and HoN without having to resort to the guides for the players who have never seen a moba before? Do I have to take the abuse from my ingame temporary mates and just grind it out? Or is there another viable option?
Also, how do I fix this overlay in the tutorial? I have tried various graphics settings, but the problem persists. Thanks!
