Hi! I started to think of some pretty cool stuff for the next Valheim update that brings new stuff to the Mistlands biome, firstly there would be a few new mobs. the Crawler (a spider) the Spitter (also a spider but they shoot webs that when it hits you they start to reel you closer to them so they can attack you, 1 or 2 stars will shoot their webs faster and reel you in faster along with the normal stars stats.) the Abandoned Warrior ( basically a Scooby Doo set of medieval armor that has a sword and will slowly walk around trying to get you, 1 stars will have silver weapons and 2 stars will have black metal weapons along with the normal stars stats.) Abandoned Ranger ( same thing as warrior but with a crossbow instead of a sword they will have normal stars stats.) there is a new dungeon structure called a Nest, of course you wont like it in there if you have arachnophobia. you will be able to find web caches on the walls with certain items in them such as bones, entrails, and sometimes weapons or armor! the Crawlers and Spitters will naturally spawn in here along with the Spawnlings ( they are just super small baby spiders that are afraid of fire) the Abandoned will spawn naturally near the small ruins that will scatter the Mistlands and in the new Abandoned Keep. the Keep will have about 10 to 15 Abandoned inside it with a chest filled with very valuable riches including a new and very important item. if you somehow get bored with all the exploring you can now focus on some new items and resources. you can now create the mighty Great sword, a massive two handed sword that will deal lots of damage to anything that gets in its way. sadly the downside of this weapon is that it is much slower than your normal sword (this can be crafted in bronze, iron, silver, and black metal versions.) your pillaging through the Mistlands will sometimes give you rewards like spider silk. ( drops from Crawlers, Spitters, and Spawnlings.) this resource can be used to make lots of items that will come out with the update. if you kill deathsquitos you might get a chance at receiving a deathsquito wing fragment! if you find 10 of these and some spider silk you can create a winged cape. not only does this give you an incredible sense of fashion, but you can also use this to fall from great heights while taking reduced fall damage whenever you fall off of any unexpected cliffs… or roofs. you can also make a much more advanced bow named the crossbow, this bow can launch arrows much further and faster but it will take longer to reload, you can also have many cross bows loaded in your inventory at once allowing you to unleash a quick storm of arrows to kill anything that dares best you! of course the crossbow is a bit too strong for normal arrows so you will have to use only metal arrows ( such as bronze head, iron head, silver head, and black metal head arrows) if you get yourself a crossbow and some linen thread you will be able to create the grappling hook, this will allow you to get to hard to reach areas (you will use stamina on this and if you run out you will fall off of it) you can get a new valuable resource called magic remnant ( this drops from any Abandoned) this resource will allow you to upgrade any item once at any upgrade station. and last but not least the brand new boss fight. if you go through a nest you might be able to find a cocoon, once you break it open there will be the new tablet thing to help you get to the next boss Calckuin. you will need to scavenge many Abandoned keeps until you find the eternal torch (you use this to start the boss fight but you can use it as a torch afterwards, it obviously will never run out.) once you get the torch you must go to Calckuin's cocoon. you must use the eternal torch to set it on fire which will start the boss fight. once she is out Calckuin will use a few attacks, he will shoot a large globs of web that deal damage and will slow you down for a while, then if she gets close to you he will try to bite you with his venomous fangs, and his last attack she will summon a large brood of Spawnlings to rip you to shreds. if you survive this encounter you will be rewarded with Calckuins head and a very nasty egg. if you place the head at the ritual place thing you will get a new buff that once used will double any food or positive effect that you have on you already. you can place the egg on the ground and after a while it will hatch into a very terrifyingly cute Crawler that will imprint onto you. once it is of age they will be very strong and you can ride them with a saddle that takes spider silks, iron, and lox pelt. they will obviously be like the lox but not as slow and a bit faster at attacking. I don't know what to do with the Yagluth things that drop from him but maybe you can give me some suggestions? welp that is all for now, thank you so much for reading this and please let me know how you think!
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
