After avoiding this game for so long I decided to finally try it and have enjoyed the beginning ramp and grind of the game. As the game is so complicated and does absolutely nothing to tell you what to do or how to do it in the game, I have taken to various forums to try to learn the information on how to actually play it.
Over time I finally found the information I need but what I noticed is how toxic the much of the community that plays the game seems to be. I've read so many forum post where people just blame the person flying for not being good enough and saying that playing the game everyday for 2 weeks isn't a grind.
I can't even see that justification because in 2 weeks I've done almost everything there is to do in the game. Trading is boring, combat is so lopsided that PVE and PVP are just a coin flip even with a 12mil rebuy ship because of engineering mods and random AI scaling.
I put this game off for so long because it was so complicated, and I didn't think it was worth trying to figure it all out. Now I feel the same way, having played it. Am I missing anything?
