I'm still griefing what they had done to Clinkz. The hero was pretty much ignored in the competitive scene, while being fairly succesful in lower rank pubs, and there are good reasons for that. It was unable to fast farm and was easily countered by a well coordinated team who can play around wards, so his sneaky solo kill potential was pretty much nullified. On the other hand, when it comes to lower rank pubs, Clinkz had a chance to shine since being able to chase solo kills around the map works significantly better.
The thing is Clinkz had it's own set of mechanics that made him unique, and Strafe played a huge role in it. Now that this spell was replaced by a rather generic wave clearer/team fight tool, the hero also became a bit generic and objectively worse than most ranged carries, both in the pro scene and in pubs. I just wish IceFrog would accept well the fact that some heroes might be ignored in competitive Dota while still being fun and decent to play in pubs. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that as long the amount of hero in this catergory remain kinda low.
