Open Ideas For Changes To Tarkov

I see a lot of players talking about how wipes are moving too fast, and how players who cannot dedicate 100 hours in the first week of a wipe fall so far behind that they shouldn't even try, and to be honest, I agree. If you are trying to get into this game now then you are in for a rough time. The game is super unforgiving (even to a fault sometimes) and it has a very high barrier to entry. The changes I'm about to propose are the ways that I think BSG should combat these issues.

1: TRADER LEVELS NOT TIED TO CHARACTER LEVELS

Traders are a huge part of of the game, and right now there are 3 requirements to level up a trader. Spending money and gaining reputation are great in my opinion, however I think that character level should not matter when it comes to leveling up traders. I think that this hinders players who cannot play multiple raids a day. If player level was taken out of the equation then a low level player could simply do tasks and spend/sell at a trader without having to seek out gunfights that they know they will lose.

2: LOCK TRADER LEVELS FOR EVERYONE FOR A SET AMOUNT OF TIME

Lets say that a wipe lasts 4 months, that makes 3 wipes a year. If BSG locked the traders to only sell level 1 items for the first month of the wipe, then players would be able to enjoy the "early game" for a lot longer than they currently are. After the first month then the traders would unlock their next level to players who completed the required tasks and traded the required amount of cash. Now the players would get another month of level 2 trader items. This would continue until the 4th month where traders unlocked all items by the end of the wipe. With this change you give players time to do their tasks while everyone is still on a relatively even playing field. The only way to get high end gear would to either find it in raid, or buy it on flee, or wait till the end of the wipe, so it would be much less common.

3: UNLOCK ALL TRADER TASKS AT THE START OF THE WIPE

Seriously this one should already be a thing. I understand quest lines needing to be done in order, but I don't see why I have to focus on one task when I could be working on multiple tasks at the same time if they just unlocked. This would also make it so that players would not have to hoard ridiculous amounts of junk at the start of the wipe because they know they will need it later. Instead they could just turn them in as they get them and save the stash space (something new players really struggle with).

4: LEVEL 15 AND LOWER PLAYERS SHOULD NOT QUEUE WITH LEVEL 30 AND HIGHER PLAYERS

This one is simple. It's not fun for a new player to get stomped by a player who grind the game since day one and knows all the tricks. level 15s are very new to the wipe (at least later on) and 50s are the opposite. Why would you pair these players together at all?

In the end Tarkov is a game, and if it is not fun for people to play, it will die. It was always a "hardcore" game and that is great, but if should never be unplayable for people who don't spend their entire lives on it. also "realism" isn't a valid defense for bad design choices. Yes thermal scopes exist in real life but maybe, just maybe, they shouldn't exist in Tarkov.
