[THE PROBLEM]

For context I started playing Tarkov in 2018. Haven't played for a while due to all of the cheating and performance issues.

I decided I wanted to start again and just do some chill raids but without exception, every single player I come against is wearing level 4 – 6 armour and using laser beams with M993/M61/BP/BS. I am well aware this is normal for late wipe, I'm not complaining about that.

What I do think is an issue is that especially for new players, mid-late wipe is BRUTAL. I can't imagine picking up the game at this stage of the wipe and trying to learn it. I consider myself a veteran who runs towards the hot PVP areas but unless I rat and face tap an unsuspecting player, I stand no chance in any gunfight because I'm instantly dead if I miss the first bullet. No access to any good armour, guns, or ammo and won't have flea market access until much later.

[THE SOLUTION]

Let's say the wipe cycle is 6 months:

Every 2 months, reduce the flea market level requirement by 5.

After 2 months, allow all players access to level 2 traders. After 4 months, give everyone access to level 3 traders.

This will give new players and late wipe joiners at least a fighting chance to bring out some decent ammo such as 7.62x54R LPS, 7.62×51 BCP FMJ, 7.62×39 PS, 5.56×45 M856A1.
