It is just way too powerful and is included in every NG deck. It is way better than Corathi Heathwave IMO. Not only does Invocation remove a very high unit deck, the NG player usually gets a high provision unit in his hands + it forbids the opponent to play it again + in some cases it is crucial if invoked card is defender.
Every other faction has a removers that cost up to 9 provisions, but none of them has the ability to confiscate a card.
Let us take Vigo's Muzzle as a more similar comparison. Muzzle has 12 provision cost + it has restriction to max 5 power + captured card is locked and you have to purify it if you want to make use of it. You can also only use it in current round, when Invocation saves a card for you to the last round for example.
What I am trying to say is that a card which is arguably worse than Invocation has a higher provision and limited use, where you can use Invocation whenever it fits you. Yes, invoked card is not set on your side of a field immediately, but NG has lots of tools to take it out from your deck.
I am not here bitching that "iT Is nOt fAiR", I use it myself when I play NG. I think the card is fine, but the provision cost is too low and can be included in any deck regardless of the playstyle. If provision increase is not possible then it should get a nerf. Invoke a card that is not boosted or invoke a card that has no status, I don't know, I just think that there should be at least some nerf.
I personally think that it should cost 11 provision in its current state or remain the same provision cost if it gets nerfed. What do you guys think?
TLDR: Yennefer's Invocation is too strong and should cost more provisions or get a nerf.
