I've been wanting to learn about space more deeply for a while, but since reading/watching The Expanse and its attention to scientific detail I've wanted to learn more.
Are there any video series that are good for explaining the physics/chemistry of space, stars, planets, etc? For example, when discussing stars a physicist will say things like helium core or releasing hydrogen when a red giant turns to a white dwarf. I don't understand elements at all, what they look like, how they behave, etc.
As far as Elite, I'd love to be able to fly into a system and look at the star's info and make some sense of it, and I'd also love if I could somehow learn some science while exploring. I'm not sure if this level of detail is available in the game though (except flying FA Off – love me some Newtonian physics :D).
Any thoughts or resources would be much appreciated!
