With the recent community driven scenario involving a prize of Cyberpunk 2077, it got me thinking about how similar player driven events could be incentivized using Arx.
As of now I'm not familiar with an easy, reliable way to get another player Arx without first giving them money in some other form..
Any strong opinions here? Has this already been fleshed out and I'm missing something?
I'm really starting to like the idea and if enough of us do maybe it can reach the Devs. I mean, I see it as a win win: It's cosmetic only, so it wont help progression, it incentivizes interaction, and FDev makes more money.
Imagine I decide I want to put up $4, that's like a cup of Starbucks but it's 5,000 Arx! or maybe I just farmed them with gameplay, either way as an incentive that's pretty sweet.
So many different player driven scenarios can play out with that type of incentive, and it's both desirable and accessible. From PvP to PvE to PvX, trade, exploration you name it. Imagine a player hid something and had their own bread crumb trail leading to it, tucked away on some planet, and RPd a story surrounding it's discovery. Maybe a ship on an alt account parked somewhere, or a fleet carrier out in the black.
This community is very creative, and this just seems like one more tool to that end. What are your thoughts?
