Praise for FDEV for patch 5

I just read the patch notes and while I'm still digesting all the additions I want to be the first to praise FDEV for rapid response on some issues that I know were brought up. We spend alot of time criticizing fdev and imploring them to make much needed changes, but when they DO hear us and DO respond, they deserve to be praised.

Edit: I wanted to caveat this in case people misconstrue my intention, this is not blanket praise for everything, but for specific issues. Yes they botched the launch of odyssey, yes there are many crap elements and 'wtf' design choices, and we can and should and DO criticize them. But when they do something that addresses them, they should be praised for listening to their community.

Notes found here: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/elite-dangerous-odyssey-update-5.584271/

1- UI: UI, UI, UI, this has been something that was brought up over and over and over, and I'm so pleased that Fdev has made it a point to address this

  • Outfitting – The outfitting UI now opens at the ship loadout screen.
  • Outfitting – Added a Stored Modules button in the loadout screen.
  • Numerous others in the patch notes

2- Making modules default to store instead of sell. I'm impressed by their response since this suggestion was made not long ago on this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteDangerous/comments/o2u15s/for_the_love_of_all_that_is_sane_fdev_please_make/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

  • Outfitting – A warning is now displayed if a replaced module is to be sold in outfitting, if it's a Guardian module or is engineered.
  • Outfitting – The store/sell previous module toggle now defaults to "store".
  • Outfitting – Installed modules are no longer included in the outfitting inventory.
  • Outfitting – Pop-up no longer displayed when storing any existing module to your ship (Pop-up will show if warning about transferring clean modules to a ship with questionable legality)
  • Outfitting – The state of the store/sell replaced modules toggle in the outfitting UI is now stored. The value isn't saved, it just persists for the current session.

There are many more items on the patch notes that address long standing bugs and issues, but I shall reserve judgement on those until we've had a chance to log in to the game and test them.
