Hello,
I am a high school student from Slovakia and I've been playing videogames competitively for more than 3 years. I have experiences not only as a player but also as a coach.
As I was looking into various research sources, I have noticed the lack of research about the e-sports and people engaging in competitive e-sport activities. Therefore I have decided to conduct a study and join a nationwide competition.
In this study I'm trying to find out 'whether the performances of players can be influenced by the sport activities they have done in childhood'. Further I try to describe the relationship between the cognitive functions that a person acquires in sports and how they are also related to improved performance in action video games.
I would be really grateful if I could have a moment of your time to fill out my questionnaire, which shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes. And at the same time, I would love to ask if there is in your opinion a link between your performance in action video games and sports activities you have done as a child or are doing nowadays. Thank you for your time and I wish you a pleasant rest of the day.
