Props to BSG for the changes to night vision

Normally I'm pretty negative with regards to this game, but I've gotta give credit where it's due; night vision has been greatly improved this patch and as night main, I'm pretty stoked.

This patch IR searchlights and lasers were changed to only be visible through night vision, which is just lovely. The IR searchlights are amazing for clarifying detail in shadowy areas without alerting the entire map to your presence, and they're also significantly less obvious than normal strength flashlights so they don't give you away as much to other NOD users. Hilariously, lasers are now a solid beam like a light saber or something. It's very gamey, but I like it aesthetically and gameplay wise.

But much more importantly than the changes to IR tactical devices is the general changes made to NODs that weren't mentioned in the patch notes. Previously looking towards basically any light source with any type of night vision was like asking someone to burn out your retinas. Now most lights (unless you're standing directly in them,) are nowhere near as harsh. You can see past many lights in the game, and can actually see with more clarity in certain cases where the light source is dim.

Night factory for example is playable with the PNV-10Ts now. Every light source on the map doesn't instantly blind you, although the 3 unbreakable lights on the ceiling are still eye cancer. The lights are still harsh, especially when standing in the areas they illuminate directly, but you don't have to flip your goggles off just because there's a glowstick in your line of sight 30 meters away.

Similarly the infamous unbreakable floodlights in the shoreline resort no longer blind. You can actually see past the one by sanitar's office quite easily now.

They also changed the volumetric fog to not mess with night vision as much. The outside of interchange is still pretty bad, but inside of the mall night vision actually feels like an advantage now rather than "eh kinda better kinda worse in some ways."

There's still issues (the sky box during the bright part of night is even worse now somehow,) but overall this is a massive step up for night vision players, so yeah thanks BSG, this is pretty cool.
