Question for Linux CMDRs playing Odyssey

Do you alls play with noticeable input latency when FPS dips below 60? For me, the input latency is worse when FPS goes below 60 compared to Windows.

The analogy I can explain this with, is that 45 FPS on Linux feels like 15 FPS on Windows.

Knowing how wonky Odyssey still is in terms of rendering and all that jazz, engaging in settlement combat where FPS dips below 60 becomes somewhat of a pain with the input latency. I wonder if any of you all also experience this issue, and whether you have fixed it, or just decided to deal with it.

I'm on Kubuntu 21.10 with KDE Plasma 5.23 running Wayland, dual-monitor setup with VRR enabled on both. Running XanMod-5.15.28 Realtime kernel. Elite running from Steam via Proton 6.3-8, high graphics, fullscreen mode, VSync ON. Ryzen 7 5800X, Radeon RX 5700 XT (mesa 21.3.3 drivers), 32 GB RAM running at 3600 MHz CL16.

I have isolated the input latency issue to be in Elite only, as I have played other more graphically demanding Windows games on Steam using the same Proton version, and they barely have any input latency even in the hardest of FPS drops.
