Random thought about potential new encouragements and enticements into existing background simulation gameplay…

Just heading a few hundred LY back to my carrier, when I happened to come across a nearby site in the route plotter that is in blight state… so thought I'd be a goodie two shoes and pick up some Agronomic Treatment stuff to deliver on my way while I do my space knitting…

Anyway, that got me into thinking, how about we get notified in the comms panel about background sim states (say within a 200ly radius) and optional enticements to get involved…

"hey Cmdr, we see you have an [X] rank in [CAREER] (I dont think it should need to be tied to requiring any existing system reputation for messages - just basically any rank after leaving the starter systems) our system is currently in [STATE] and need [COMMODITIES/ACTIONS], if you can swing by to assist we'll sweeten the deal with an additional [REWARD]."

Accept / Decline

We'd want an option to not be notified of these if we want – but I think it would be a good way to add a bit more engagement, we often hear newbie players say "what do I even do in this game?" this I think would help draw them in… and also help educate players to know about system states and what sort of things are needed for them to recover.
