– This game was revealed in 2011 and it's still extremely unpolished. I, an active STW player, can't make any progress in this game because without any teammates, you will most definitely lose. The game keeps throwing propane husks and lobber husks at my fort. I end up both wasting materials and losing the game because of it. None of my friends play STW, and public lobbies either have no teammates, or they have players who only want to trade.
– Not to mention the crashes. They may be few and far between, but when they do happen, you lose all of your progress. Don't be too down, however, at least all of the materials you used still saved. So much for a "premium experience."
– May I bring attention to the awful game play. The quest line is so tedious. Instead of making actual quests that reveal more of the story, Epic chose to make the already set in place quests repetitive. Not to mention, one mission alone will take you up to 20 minutes to complete. The wildlife is such a pain in the neck. They never come in handy, and at times, they are worse than husks to deal with. I also wish we got more content instead of the repeating side quests that I've seen several times already.
– I find it funny that BR, a free extension of STW, has swimming, fishing, vehicles, and better graphics than STW, a $20 game. BR even gets constant major updates, whereas STW barely gets updates, and when the game does get updated, the updates tend to be underwhelming. STW had so much potential, but Epic neglected it in favor of BR.
