Reminder for the community and love for the devs

I am so so tired of seeing people complain the development of Valheim isn’t fast enough for them.

This game is $20 with no micro transactions in sight. Games made by the biggest studios out there often cost $50-60 and a lot are hot garbage or you get nickeled and dimed by paying $10-20 every few months to see the newest content. I personally have well over 100 hours into this game and I know there are plenty of other people that have 100s, some even have 1000s of hours. That much playtime from a game that costs $20 is an insane value.

This game is phenomenal as it is and it gets better with every update. Then you put the cherry on top when you add in the fact that there are shit loads of mods that can make Valheim feel like an entirely new game. I understand wanting new updates for the vanilla game, they will come. Instead of ragging on the devs / Iron Gate give them a pat on the back for what they’ve made so far and thank them for giving us an escape from the rough world, the stress it has helped us relieve, the fun we have had and the memories we have made. I don’t want Valheim to be another game that dies too soon because the devs get demotivated by their community.
