3+ months in and level 38 and still no tank battery. Moonshine is making my scavs lazy and I'm not finding shit in raid. Last wipe the scav case came through for me, but this time it's been a little pathetic. Finally sprung for the keys to every locked door that has a potential tank battery spawn on Reserve, but unlocking doors and going through all these different rooms and finding a toolbox or some other rinky-dink trash really makes watching TV appealing.

Just hit level 37 this morning so was finally able to buy the RSASS (I never had enough dog tags for the barter) — then spent the day building 11 guns for the gunsmith quests, thus going from 37 to 38. This one feels to me like a bad design — lock two-thirds of the questline behind something that can't be bartered and doesn't unlock until you're 4 levels away from max traders, but once you get past it you just breeze through everything else. Why not move the RSASS build to later in the chain?

All but one of the flash drives I needed were built in the hideout.

I think I did get lucky with at least the first Gas Analyzer though.
