SA is not getting the recognition it deserves

So if the allocation of slots is right on liquipedia, SA is getting robbed, let me explain :

  • China got 4 slots this Major. 3 Teams qualified to last TI (which is a first btw, they always at least got 4 since TI 1), they got top 16, top 6 and top 4
  • EEU got 3 slots. 2 Teams qualified to TI, they got top 20 and top 16
  • SEA got 3 slots. 3 Teams qualified to TI, they got top 18, top 16 and top 12.

3 Teams from SA qualified to TI, placing top 16, top 8 and top 6. However, the top 16 was because 2 SA teams got to play against each other, so maybe Hokori could have done better if they got against another region.

How is SA getting only 2 slots ? Especially in a major on their own continent. They showed they were more than capable of handling the big stage and their teams were now as good as the best from any other region.
EEU and CN underperformed compared to usual, so it's only natural that one of their slot should go to SA.

I really hope the qualified teams show again how good they are and the recognition they deserve and that Valve understands that they're far from being the worst region and give them one more slot.
