When I had first started playing and learned about taming other animals obviously if i saw an animal i tried to see if it could be tamed, this is how we got our first wolves. Naturally when I first saw the trader with his lox I told myself "I'm getting one of those". After a lot of grinding, getting new equipment and finding the plains I did it I finally found the lox. Hours and hours trying to trap it in a wooden cage I finally got it to relax without destroying the walls every minute and eventually this became the first lox I tamed. This lox later went on to be named Ellie and I would hop onto her back and make jokes about how I would ride her and eventually get her out of the plains. Months later the game is finally updated and introducing the lox saddle Ellies time had finally come she was going to leave the plains forever and into our nice pen we made for her at our main house. Sadly with this new update lox fight fullings and deathsquitos now if tamed and defending herself before I could even make the saddle Ellie the lox lost her life before she ever got to explore outside the plains. Rip Ellie I may not have officially ridden you but I will not forget you and your spirit will transfer into my army of lox that will destroy the plains inhabitants for what they did.
