I have loved the implementation of scav karma since day one but I've had and still have 2 major issues with it.
- While I understand that to have the scav bosses be entirely friendly with you, you need to have +6 rep, I really wish that maybe if you had +3 rep, they wouldn't engage you at a distance. I can't tell you how many times I've been on top of bunker hill on reserve, only to die to Gluhar and the boys from the far side of K near the Tower by Rook. I just ran a scav. was running from Rook to K and as soon as I hit the ramps at K I heard him and his guards. Immediately did a 180 and ran away only to get gunned down from 50 meters at least. It's just annoying how far their aggro range is.
- This is possibly the more annoying issue. Sure it's annoying that you have to get shot by another player Scav to be able to kill them without penalty, simply being shot at doesn't count, but I understand that. What sucks is that if my teammate (also a scav) gets shot but not killed by another player scav, and I kill said player scav, I lose rep. Despite the fact that he had shot another player scav. I think that if a player scav shoots, not even killing only hitting, another scav (player or ai) they should be marked as a traitor for the raid. I'm sick of losing rep just because I'm saving my boy's life from another player scav who already shot him.
