Had a thought that might help new players if Frontier were to make this change. We already can install Outfitting facilities into fleet carriers, and select inventory to offer for purchase at them. What if we were able to do the same with modules we, ourselves, had engineered? If you’ve done the grind for materials and unlocking the engineers themselves, bought the module, and done the work on it, would you want the option to set a price on the module and stick it in your outfitting store on offer?
A great step Odyssey took was giving us the ability to drop off or trade any component we wanted from the on-foot grind. A very lively thread on the Frontier boards lets people arrange trades (“Sharing is Caring”). It’d be nice if we could do the same with modules, especially with a war on—people who wanted to could just churn out heavy duty hull reinforcements or thermal vent beam lasers to sell to other players from their own carriers. I suspect it would make a world of difference in present circumstances.
