Everybody lucky enough to try Elite with good performance in VR knows how mind blowing it is. For Fdev, with their very limited funds and capability, they weren't able to make it work for the on foot sections.
But here comes PSVR2, with several titles not from the ground up specifically for it. And its seems like the absolutely optimal display for a space simulator.
How much cheaper wouldn't it be for Sony, instead of building games from scratch, to give Fdev the cash they need to bring Odyssey to consoles and make it work in VR? It could be one of the top PSVR2 titles of all, easily! Spend some cash on making motion controls work really well in ships and on foot, and you have a way better and more realistic alternative to No Man's Sky ready to go.
They don't even have to make anything new, just adapt it to PS5. The cost would be nothing for Sony.
What's your opinion? Why aren't they already doing this?
