Since Epic kept STW in this month’s crew. Here is a reminder on the benefits of getting STW through either the crew pack and/or starter pack

I am re-making this post in case there will be a surge in people asking on "what do you get from buying STW now?" questions. So people can at least do their research.

This may be an old info anyway, if you got STW through either crew or starter packs, you won't earn endless vbucks like founder pack owners do. So basically Storm Shield Defenses, Daily Login rewards, Daily challenges, Progressive challenges, Mission alerts and Questlines won't reward vbucks at all. Instead, you'll get a currency that is exclusive to Fortnite: Save The World only. Which is X-Ray Tickets. Used to open llamas only.

And founder packs have been permanently discontinued since 30/6/2020. There is ABSOLUTELY no way to get them anymore. Unless you are ready to sell your house for a code, you're better off buying vbucks at this case.

(For people who have STW already.)

Here are your benefits when getting STW:

Getting the starter pack

  • The outfit mentioned in the pack + Harvesting tool + backbling

  • 1500 vbucks challenges (Complete daily challenges to complete the vbucks challenges, the daily challenges themselves won't award you vbucks).

That's it.

Getting the crew subscription

No additional rewards.

(For new players.)

Here are your benefits when getting STW:

If you are getting STW through the starter pack.

  • Save The World access.

  • The outfit mentioned in the pack + Harvesting tool + backbling

  • 1500 vbucks challenges (Complete daily challenges to complete the vbucks challenges, the daily challenges themselves won't award you vbucks).

AND NOTHING ELSE.

If you are getting STW through crew subscription

  • Save The World access.

AND NOTHING ELSE.

(Getting the vbucks from the starter pack challenges)

As for getting the vbucks from the pack, you won't get them immediately. You need to complete daily challenges in Save The World in order to get them. And as mentioned before, the daily challenges themselves won't reward Vbucks. The challenges for Vbucks are located in a standalone section named "[starter pack name] challenges". In this case it's called "Toni challenges", these are the ones that reward Vbucks as you complete a certain number of Daily Challenges.

The Challenges are:

  • Complete Daily Challenges (0/1), Rewards 100 vbucks

  • Complete Daily Challenges (0/3), Rewards 200 vbucks

  • Complete Daily Challenges (0/5), Rewards 300 vbucks

  • Complete Daily Challenges (0/7), Rewards 400 vbucks

  • Complete Daily Challenges (0/10), Rewards 500 vbucks (only for future packs after Ch3s2's release)

NOTE: Daily challenges unlocked by completing Homebase Storm Shield Defense 3. You won't get them immediately as well.
