So you know how a while back, not sure if they still do it, but if you’re playing STW prior to a event where they close all servers down but the ones entering the live event, Ray mentioned something about weird energy from ‘the island’ (most likely referring to the battle royal island, I can’t validity nor debunk if that’s true or not, but I don’t see them talking about anything else). We already know the entirely of BR is in a simulation, so it’s a bit weird STW feels the effects of it, and besides, you wouldn’t feel the effects of a simulation. Unless STW itself is taking place in a simulation, which also answers how Ray got to know about the BR island, and how the energy emitting from it or whatever even mattered to STW (they could’ve come up with a better excuse, come on). At the same time it could just be something the devs said just to make an excuse for STW players being unable to play, but I still think it’s strange and conspicuous reasoning imo, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, I very well maybe without realizing, haven’t played or caught up to the lore in a longgg time.
