I'm going to get shit for this, but it's my opinion and I'm going to speak it. This isn't my knee-jerk reaction, I've put some thought into this and have played hours and hours in the Swamp.

The swamp needs a nerf. Yea, I'm not amazing at the game, but i aint that bad either. The difficulty spike from BF to Swamp is unreal. In the BF, I barely ever saw a 1 star Greydwarf, and even more seldom a troll. Yet, 1 star/2 star Draugers are quite common in the swamp, and so are Drauger Elites which do massive amounts more damage than the greydwarves do compared to your skills/armor when you first begin venturing into the BF.

I fully understand needing to keep the game interesting for players after they've left the iron age and need to go back into the Swamp, and I also absolutely love a challenge, but getting 1 shot sniped by 2 star draugers when all I've been able to craft is tier 2 Troll Armor is absolutely not my idea of fun.

Keep in mind, ive done massive amounts of research on potions, food, armor, weapons, tactics, etc. I know what needs to be done, but God man, there's a difference between a challenging grind and pure torture. The swamp is currently the latter. And I'm not even mentioning the iron quota for upgrading your gear to iron, that is even more insane when factoring in the difficulty level of the enemies of the Swamp.
