Hmm.. How do I put this?: How in the f#ck does only the top 8 teams at the major get DPC points?! Your telling me that brutally competing versus others regions (5 days long on LAN at a major) NOT to be bottom 3 in the group stage and be eliminated, does not give you any points over those who did drop out? You serious?! Think about it: Let's say a region like China, that has 4 slots at the major, is somehow the worst region (which they currently seem to be(no joke)), but still, let's hypothetically say that even if all 4 Chinese teams had a Knights performance, that would mean that they would be bottom 2 of each group (since they divide the regions equally amongst the groups(China has 4)), then NO Chinese team would get any DPC points, which is fair. Cause bad region don't deserve free points and it should stay like that for the teams getting knocked out of groups. But this is not the case. Unfairly (IMHO), teams that would be knocked out 9-12th get 0 points. Not cool. Clearly, I am not asking for participation trophies (f#ck that), but we need better DPC points rewards for actual progress you made at majors (1-12th position). Knights finishing 3rd in Chinese DPC and bottom last here. They are closer to qualifying for TI directly than they should be if, let's say, Beastcoast does not make top 8 here. Beastcoast nearly 1-1'd everyone, finishing 8-8, and could walk away from this major (if knocked out by EG/Entity) no closer to TI than Knights after their 1-15 showing. I feel that makes no sense.
