Hello everyone, I'm looking for any posts, videos, or guides that introduce you to the game of Valheim without actually spoiling anything or ruining the magic/mystery. I remember when I first started Terraria, and later on – Hollow Knight, and the wonder of a new game to figure out is certainly magical. I'd like to keep as much of that as possible.
However, I think in general people tend to oversimply what actually ruins the game in terms of guides/tips and what actually helps a great deal without having a negative effect on the experience overall. In many different games, there are always small little quirks, tweaks, or other tiny aspects that go by unnoticed for god knows how long. They don't necessarily ruin the experience, more so just assist in otherwise tedious or meaningless tasks that deviate from the first time experience of a new player. I'm looking for any of those 🙂
I'm pretty excited to start this game but I'm not sure if patience is something I'll be able to handle. As someone who absolutely adores min-maxing everything in games, along with playing an aggressive play style in traditional fps games like Valorant, patience without action isn't something that comes easily to me. The difference between completely perfecting my movement to maximize the dps I deal to a Hollow Knight boss and simply mindless grinding low level enemies in any normal mmorpg is so large that I have NOT been able to get into any slower paced or non gamer-adrenaline fueled games in a long time. I'd love some tips that streamline this experience for Valheim while retaining it's most marvelous aspects 🙂
