It was a lot of fun running handbuff when the Price of Power Expansion dropped, but with the nerf to Gord's ceiling and the provision nerf to Bountiful Harvest the deck has become clunky to build and run.
I can't put my finger exactly on what is so clunky in deck building with the 2 less provisions, but feels like I am trading between consistency by running Nature/SK tutors with Forest Protector and adding cards that play into the handbuff archetype such as Freixenet, Ithlinee Aegli, and Sirssa.
Filivandrel Aen Fidhail is just not good. He reminds me of Yaga which has a potentially high ceiling but a high probability to brick and eats too many provisions to be worth it.
My only suggestion is to add the same devotion condition that Torque has to Aglais. Aglais is supposed to be the finisher and relies on receiving buffs in your hand through the entire game. If she doesn't find your hand until the end, she plays well below her provision cost. The nerf to Gord means he is a weaker finisher in this deck as well.
I'm curious is anyone else has suggestions on how to make handbuff semi-competitive again as its current state is highly inconsistent, and when it does go off, powercrept where it can't pull out the W.
