I get the star level when it comes to enemy AI. stars = dangerous. elite mobs . yadda yadda
BUT
this concept falls flat when it comes to tamed / breeding animals.
breeding animals and maintaining them is a hassle in its own right. you can barely "automate" stuff as it is anyways, so its another tedious task you have to do in order to maintain your "base economy"
(its not really time efficient eirher was 5 minutes running around shooting everythign on sight nets your the same amount ot stuff uless you cheese mechanics and build pure breeder infrastructure.
we should be able to get more materials from bred animals, as we can control what they eat, how they die etc etc.
same with bred wolves. they should be better than regular wolves, simply because of how much time & effort goes into maintaining them.
we should be able to, with enough breeding cycles, be able to breed stronger, better animals that produce more output and & or are stronger in combat. faster,. whatever.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
