OK this one's a bit complicated so please bear with me.

I'm based in a system about 500LY from CEOS/SOTHIS. I'm over there with my Fleet Carrier, grinding fed rank. One of my Squadron buddies who's in Odyssey pops up and asks me if I want a LARGE sum in shared missions. Naturally I'm interested.

Because I'm grinding fed rank to get my 'vette, I decide I'm going to pause my grind (a little way into "Post Captain"), pop back to the home systems, and cash in those Wing Missions. As I leave, I notice I still have 196 tons of Space Turd in my cargo – ah, well I can deliver that later.

However – when I get to the home systems and transfer to Odyssey to cash in my missions, my cargo shows as "Stolen". I'm confused – why is it stolen? Oh, well, I'll store it on my carrier… NOPE… can't Transfer it or sell it – so I have to go to a carrier admin system, install a secure trading service, sell the goods into storage…

Only Odyssey won't put the sale through – the cargo stays on my ship!! So Horizons again, sell the cargo to my FC, back to Ody, cash in the missions, back to carrier…

Two questions arise from this whole thing; I pretty much "Get" the rest.

(a) Why did the Space Turd change to "Stolen"?

(b) Why wouldn't Ody allow me to sell it to my FC in Secure Trading mode?
