Why is strafing left and right a problem? How many fights do you get into that it actually makes a difference?
I’ve played multiple wipes and have well over 2000 hours played; and yet I can count on one hand how many times it’s made a difference- and all were within my first few hundred hours because I didn’t understand the mechanics of the game.
This wasn’t even an issue for the player base up until a couple weeks ago someone created a reddit post crying about how they are getting wrecked by players using strafing and the best gear during THE “PRE-WIPE” where everyone is blowing their money to have a good time. Ever since then it gave some of you the courage to demand that nikitia makes a change and that’s not the right thing to do.
Suggestion for all you people who hate strafing so much, STOP OVER PEEKING. If you see a meta boi all geared up…. maybe you shouldn’t take the fight head on unless you also have meta gear. In tarkov you were never intended to fight people more geared than you head on like a lunatic. You need tactics, patience, game sense and so much more to help win that fight. I can guarantee you when the wipe happens and everyone has stock ak’s this won’t be a problem because it won’t be a viable method, you will get one tapped by a dude peeking a corner if you are strafing in the open like a buffoon.
Is it realistic? No. But not everything in this game is exactly realistic because it would just make for a terrible game- like meds.
Change my mind.
